CONCEPT

Neenah is a world-class manufacturer of premium writing, text, cover, and specialty papers. Neenah periodically releases swatch books that display many of their unique papers. This particular swatch book features Neenah paper with the theme of Coca-Cola. Each chapter accents a different type of paper while also informing the reader of Coca-Cola's rich history. The book also includes extra features such as a poster, stickers, a sample bottle carrier, and a booklet commemorating the 100 year anniversary of the Coca-Cola bottle silhouette.

 

TYPOGRAPHY

Coca-Cola has recently used the Gotham typeface in many advertisements and other print material. To stay true to the brand I chose to use three variations of Gotham; light, book, and bold. Andrew Romano of Newsweek concurs, "Unlike other san serif typefaces, it's not German, it's not French, it's not Swiss," he said, "It's very American."
