PROBLEM

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices is one of the largest and most successful real estate agencies in the nation. Led by President and CEO Dan Forsman, the company has emerged as the clear market leader for the Greater Metro Atlanta Area. BHHS is owned by HomeServices of America, Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway Affiliate. In 2015, BHHS Georgia had wild success and exponential growth with their marketing campaign. The issue was that the marketing campaign, while more unique than the competition, used stock photography.

SOLUTION

BHHS Georgia partnered with the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) Atlanta to create a new campaign that would build on the success of the previous campaign. A select group of students were chosen with diverse fields of study and experiences. Together, this group created a theme for the campaign, shot hundreds of themed photographs including a new iconic image, created 22 collateral pieces, and designed a new website and mobile app for the client. These were all done with three goals in mind; increase home sales, attract high end agents, and increase brand awareness.

BHHS MOBILE APP

We redesigned the mobile app in order to improve the user interface and create a better experience for the user. By utilizing push notifications, GPS, and functions like live map tracing, we've made it easier for the user to find their next home.

 
 
 
 

PUSH NOTIFICATIONS

Using the device's GPS, the BHHS mobile app can notify the user when they are near a home that matches their preset search criteria. This allows the app to functions as a personal agent that understands the user's wants and needs.

SEE YOUR
DREAM HOME

After being notified that there are homes near the user, they can view those homes and easily access the important information. Buttons at the top of the page make it easy to request more info, get directions, or call the agent directly.

 
 
 
 
 

LIVE MAP TRACING

This is a feature commonly used by Zillow and Trulia. Live map tracing allows the user to select an area on the map, whether it's a specific city or neighborhood, and draw a circle on their screen. The circle is then populated with homes that match their search criteria.

Our team redesigned the entire BHHS experience with pieces including a stationery, event invitations, name tags, magazines, packaging, and much more.

BHHS PATTERN

To assist in brand recognition, we created a custom pattern that is used throughout the print pieces and laser cut into the event invitation.

 

 

PHOTOGRAPHY

 

DETAILS

By focusing on the details in and around the house, the consumer is able to understand what makes these homes beautiful and exclusive. These photographs can be used in publications, home listings, and for social media content.

CAMPAIGN IMAGES

The campaign photographs include images that could be used on billboards and other advertisements. We wanted these images to each tell a story and allow the consumer to see themselves in these situations.
